Exciting things are coming…

Where have we been?

We must admit, we have been absent for a while – we have been crazy busy.

At the end of July we were so excited to see that we made our first sale! Thank you to buyer for purchasing two of our bracelets – we are so happy someone is enjoying them!

We then got a table reserved at Matlock Bath Indoor Market (for those who do not know Matlock Bath – it is a lovely town in Derbyshire and is essentially a seaside town without the sea).

This was our first “real” stall so we had a lot to prepare and we are happy to say it went successfully and we will be returning at the end of December!

Now we are in August (where has the year gone?!) we are now looking at making Christmassy items. I know! Our products do take a while to make due to the care and attention to put into them so we better start early!

What Do You Mean by “Custom Made”?

At Laroc Jewellery we wanted to make jewellery for you, so surely you should have some say in what it looks like?

At Laroc Jewellery whilst we list some basic colours for the items we have – there is also a request a colour option. The reason we do not list ALL colours as this may be overwhelming but you can choose specifically what colour you want.

Obviously the colours will depend on what we can obtain from our suppliers but we will ensure to do everything we can to make sure that you get the bracelet just the way you want it!

We Have Been Featured!

Over the weekend we were delighted to see that our Hide and Seek Kheops bracelet had been added to one of Etsy’s curators treasury lists of items they like!

We are absolutely delighted to have been added to this list – take a look below:-

Our First Stall…

So besides running the Etsy store we decided we also wanted to take our products to stalls as well.

We were invited to a charity event for a local dance group and caught the interest of many!

We had lots of fun and are determined next to attend a full arts and crafts fair. Below are pictures of our stall – a bit basic, but not bad for our first one.

It has been three months…

So it has been just under three months since we opened our Etsy store. We have had plenty of interest but no sales. Must we be doing something wrong?

Learning about Etsy has been difficult. Learning how to actually name your products for one, apparently it just cannot be a name – you have to think what would YOU search for in order to find a product like that?

The pricing has been another – are we too low or too high?

Delivery has been a big thing – we started off with just delivering within the UK and then the EU. Upon doing some research a lot of UK sellers advised that shipping to the USA especially is a definite yes. One Etsy even saying that they found American’s actually bought products CHEAPER than the cost of postage. So on that delivery option went.

We have joined teams but although these were meant to “help” each other – at the end of the day it is just a bunch of people in the exact same position – they will click that little heart and then leave, not buying anything. Much like you would do if you had an advert up similar to that.

So if anyone has any advice about Etsy – show it here. Check out our shop – favourite it and you will receive 10% when you spend £10.00 or more!
